I received the email, but was unsure of what it meant? My family informed me it was probably a California "sorry, we let you go."

I got accepted to the FNP program! So excited!!

@carlyvega - I sent you a Private Message in case you were still have difficulties finding the Facebook group.

I also got the "counseling and recommendations" email. I emailed asking for clarification since the intention of the email was pretty vague, but haven't heard back. Can anyone here shed some light on it? Is there still a chance of being waitlisted or has that shipped sailed?

I got the email as well. I called when I got the email that day and was under the impression that this was a 2nd review, with a chance of being on the waitlist. I called back a week later to clarify, because it all seemed very uncertain, unclear, and confusing, and the admissions coordinator told me that they would not create a waitlist for psych. He said that this phone appt with a faculty member would be merely to offer advice to apply next year - which would be my third year applying. Very disappointing. Needless to say, I am Columbia bound.

Thanks, lexi1822. That's really helpful. I applied to the FNP program and assume the answers would be the same. I think I'm Columbia bound, as well!

Hey folks, the USNews 2016 Best Nursing School rankings are out, and UCSF has risen even further in the rankings! Overall, they've jumped two spots up to #2 (and in psych, they're tied again for #1!)

For anyone currently in the Bay Area, and not already in the Facebook group, we're planning an informal meet n' greet of incoming MEPN students this Sunday, March 22nd starting at 2:00pm, at the Soma StrEat Park (428 11th St).

Congrats to you all for pursuing your dreams and getting accepted to UCSF MEPN! I am a current mepn student finishing my first year! I know how valuable it was for me to hear from current mepn students and would be more than happy to share my experience and offer any kind of advice for making it through your first year!

I'm new to this site. I was wondering if there was anyone who is a current MEPN student who could give me more information about the program and interview process. Or anyone who knows a nursing student at UCSF.
