MEPN 2015

Thought I would get this started...

Who is applying for UCSF MEPN Program currently?

Hi there!

Also want to echo the same question from the comment above -- is anyone willing to share their UCSF MENP experience? How rigorous was the program? How friendly/supportive/competitive (or not) was your respective cohort? Are faculty nice and helpful? Is part time at point within the program available? Attrition rate? Is there a specific GPA/grades students must maintain in order to pass (and in general, what is the grade policy)? How happy are students? Are you able to strike a healthy balance between personal, social, and academic life?

Thanks!!

Hi there, I am planning on applying to the midwifery/women health MEPN of 2018, after I finish my BA and my GRE. Pre-req are done :)

For those of you who are into the Midwifery program, I am curious which other schools with midwifery option you applied to as a back up. I have been looking at the Oregon Health and Science school, CA state university of Fullerton, and Penn. If you have done the research or ended up in other school than UCSF, what is your experience and which one do you recommend? I prefer a combined midwifery and women health, but if not combined program, midwifery is my preference. Sorry for the Eng. It is my second language. Thanks, Rachel
