Columbia ETP 2015
mivsy, I got into Columbia and am waiting to hear from OHSU. I applied for the ABSN-FNP program and just interviewed last week. I'd love to hear what you've come up with in your comparison of the OHSU and Columbia programs.

MEPN 2015
Thanks, lexi1822. That's really helpful. I applied to the FNP program and assume the answers would be the same. I think I'm Columbia bound, as well!

I also got the "counseling and recommendations" email. I emailed asking for clarification since the intention of the email was pretty vague, but haven't heard back. Can anyone here shed some light on it? Is there still a chance of being waitlisted or has that shipped sailed?

OHSU Accelerated BSN to MSN Nurse-FNP 2015
I did my interview remotely. Sorry I missed meeting you! In case anyone in the future is looking for information on interviews, here was my experience: Three interviewers, five questions, some with two parts. I don't remember the exact questions, but they were pretty standard. For example: How would you deal with a patient who has a different opinion or point of view from your own; how would you deal with a preceptor who is difficult to work with; describe a frustrating situation at work and how you handled it; what's your understanding of the profession/speciality; how will you manage working independently after graduation; how will you manage the intensity of the program. After they asked their questions, I was given the opportunity to ask mine. There wasn't a lot of chit chat; it was all business. Towards the end they all seemed to have warmed up a bit and it felt like more of a conversation. We were finished after about 40-45 minutes.

OHSU Accelerated BSN to MSN Nurse-FNP 2015
Hi modaproximate, I also applied for the AccBac-FNP program. I have scoured the web looking for tips on what to expect during the interview, but no such luck. I also emailed Admissions to ask and never got a reply. I have no idea who will be interviewing us, how long the interviews will take, whether there will be a proctored essay, etc. Have you found any information?
