Apr 28, 201016 yr Congratulations!! I don't know about the summer semester vs. fall/ spring semester. I'm taking my first summer semester. Looking forward to seeing the advice
Apr 28, 201016 yr Hi-5! I don't think there's any disadvantage of taken summer courses...if anything, it puts you into the loop earlier
Apr 28, 201016 yr Hey congrats! i got accepted as well, and start in the fall. I'm SOOO excited! I think i might take pathophysiology next summer ... but i would've had to take about 2-3 summer classes if i didn't have most of my pre-requs done. i've never taken summer classes before and i am a bit worried how they are going to fit a semesters worth of information into a couple of weeks.Good Luck everyone!!
Apr 28, 201016 yr Many nursing schools are set up to do back-to-back terms. For me, I started in Summer 2009 and will finish at the end of Summer 2010.Advantages:You finish soonerThere are more opportunities for folks to get acceptedMore sunlight to studyDisadvantages:Either no trips to the beach - or - sand in your bookbag! LOLExhaustion......Nursing school can be tough. Even tougher when you really get no break....especially for folks like me that work full time as well!
