  1. Wow! Thank you! That is so nice of you! Now I can get a head start for A&p 1...taking it in summer 2.
  2. Wow thanks everybody for your advice! I'm definitely doing it in the summer! If I don't do it in the summer than I would do it in the fall which means 2 science classes together in the spring...don't think I can do that!
  3. Art was both learning names/techniques and interpreting what I saw. Thanks for the advice! I think I will do it this summer than :)
  4. Congratulations!! I don't know about the summer semester vs. fall/ spring semester. I'm taking my first summer semester. Looking forward to seeing the advice
  5. Wow you guys definitely motivate me to do this! I was just concerned because I'm taking three classes now two (eng and math) I have an A and one a B, which is Art. I studied every night and still got a B. It was an online class which I never have done an online class. I think I'm better hands on like in the class. My art teacher said a B is good but I'm a perfectionist and was determined to get an A. Than I was thinking if I had to study a lot for this class and made a B what will I make in A & P I in the summer? I haven't been in school for a long time so I felt like I had to find my way of studying (if that makes sense). So in a way I'm glad I took art first to get my brain in studying mode. But I was sooo disappointed I got a B in art. I am good with time management. A first I thought I would be ok this summer but my art professor gave me advice that I should maybe rethink about taking it this summer if I'm concern. He told me to go talk to the nursing dept, but the secretary was out to lunch. I'm a planner and decided what classes to take in what semester so if I don't take a & p 1 this summer than I would have to wait till the 2012 application period. Thanks for all the feedback!!
  6. Hi everybody! Well I was wondering if I was crazy to do A & P I in the summer which is for 5 weeks? Is this doable? I have 2 small kids that will be in daycare while I'm in school so I can pick them up an hour or so after I get out of school so I can study, and than of course study more at night. Plus I'm not working either. I really want to apply for the nursing program for my school fall 2011. If I want to do that than I need to take a & p this summer (I actually should of done it this semester- but this was my first semester in 10 yrs and didn't know what to expect). Would anybody not recommend this? I know this class is very important so I want to get an A! :) Thanks!
  7. Exactly. I'm making all A's right now and want to keep it up, but if I do college algebra I will have to take that extra class that means either fall 10 or spring 11 I will be taking 5 classes. This is my first semester and I plan to apply for the nursing program for fall 2011.
  8. Great thank you! I'll ask her tomorrow....
  9. I didn't talk to the counsler about it. That's a good idea. I don't really know what contemporary math involes. I would have to take intermediate algebra for college algebra but not contemporary math. I did horrible on the compass test (I've been out of school for 10 years). So I started from the bottom and taking classes to lead up that way.
  10. Hi everybody! I have been reading all the wonderful, helpful forums on here. I love this website! I was wondering if anybody had advice/suggestions of what pre req of math I should take? I can either take college algebra (1314) or contemporary math (1333). I'm actually in pre algebra now and working my way up. I thought I wasn't strong in math but I have 103 grade average in my class now. Summer time I will be taking intermediate math (0305). Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!:)
