What books would you say are absolutely necessary for us new students to purchase vs rent?

No new news here, status still shows "delayed" the last time I got printed was maybe 8 yrs ago, so maybe that's the issue.

What books would you say are absolutely necessary for us new students to purchase vs rent?

Rent the "specialty" books... Like maternal child, psych... Fundamentals, med surg, pharm you use the whole time... These are your core books you NEED. I know that incoming classes are buying something online like a simulation thing that's mandatory... You need a solid nursing dx book that will help you through the program. Ackley is perfect... Carmineto you will use 2nd semester and beyond (these are authors and your instructors will refer to the books this way) also a REALLY good lab diagnostics book with nursing implications that is VERY important

This happened to me because I was told that if I didn't list something was worse than listing.. So I listed something on my lives can hat didn't even show up and I was delayed because I had to write an afidavit saying why I listed it... This might be the case.. Call the livescan people they're very helpful

My live scan has finally been cleared. The wait was brutal lol. Any news on your end phea0414?

Hi does anyone know what's the next step after health clearance? Is it just orientation week? And has anyone picked up their badges or are you waiting until orientation week?

unfortunately no, called LAC and spoke to Maria and she said that if I don't cleared by the 14th, I will be deferred to the fall semester. Not a good year end for me. I hope I get clearance soon...like ASAP!!

You still have 15 days left plus health clearance is quick. I'm crossing my fingers for you guys!
