My live scan has finally been cleared. The wait was brutal lol. Any news on your end phea0414?

I called again and they said it could be because I was not born here. That might be the cause of the delay. Strange. For those that have been cleared, were any of you not born in the US?

By the way, has anyone purchased the textbooks yet? It said to buy them as the semesters go, but I realized they all are needed for the first semester.. lol. also for the fire card and cpr card, are those offered at la county or are we supposed to get those on our own?? >

I am am also waiting for my live scan clearance.. It's going to be 3 weeks tomorrow. I called HR and they said my file is delayed... Whatever that means... Ugh I just hope it gets cleared soon so I can proceed with the Heath clearance, etc. I am so worried because I just rejected all the other three schools that I was also accepted in.....

Hi everyone! I was accepted into county's spring 16 class and was wondering if anyone can give me an input on their program.. I was also selected into rio Hondos nursing program as well. Though I've heard great things about county I'm fearful that I will not pass due to its intense program according to what I hear. Don't get me wrong I would study my butt off but I am also planning to further my education and don't what to go to a program that may jeopardize my chances in applying to future BSN/MSN programs. Do you happen to know what passing % is at county? I am going back and fourth in rio Hondos program and county and can't make up my mind it's driving me kookoooo!! I do know that rios grading scale is 75-83 is a C.. Which sounds scary knowing if i get a 74 it's considered a failing grade. Oh and has many people been dropped from county since you started? Any input is greatly appreciated I need to make my decision soon and looking for any clarity at this moment. 😐

I got into rios program as well. Check your mail! Now I need to decide which school to attend... Rio is right by my house and tuition is cheaper but county has always been my number 1 choice though I would have to sit in traffic ... Which I hate. Decisions decisions 😥
