Kendall Regional

Anyone heard of this hospital?

the good bad and ugly?

From a patient's POV: I've heard bad stuff from that hospital. I've only been a patient there like 1 million times(mainly ER or peds) and it didn't seem that bad to me, IMO.

I've heard from all kinds of people though(family, MDs, other patients, etc) that they would never work/want to go back there. I thought it looked like a clean and decent place to work. Hope you get the answer you're looking for. :)

I have many applications at that hospital and hope they offer me a position. It is very clean and the nurses are very nice and receptive.

its an HCA hospital. I went there once for a class. Pretty nice hospital IMO.

Many experienced nurses I know left. That's all I know. As a former travel nurse, I hear HCA isn't great.

I know one girl who got fired from there.

Things were not meant to be. I don't think I did well in the gallup exam so they did not call me back. I was honest in my answers and a lot of the questions were not worded right. Sometimes you act different in a situation so I don't know what the deal is to that gallop survey!

thanks for the imput.

Everyone has an opinion about every hospital. It's hard to know whether it's good or bad until you actually work there.

I've worked there, its one of the hardest hospitals to work for, here in south florida, im an agency nurse so i been to most hospitals in south florida. And i live in kendall and i bypass kendall regional whenever possible, patient to nurse ratios are terrible , the computer system is the worst and the pharmacy on top of everything is never on point

as a patient im not sure, but it doesnt seem bad

i also applied there for a permanent position before i worked there through an agency i passed the med surge and telemetry exam went home took the gallop survey and for some reason didnt get hired.... I guess better for me, cause they whip you there, i dont know how those day nurses handle the shift

in my opinion since they dont have that many available positions, they are being picky, and just blame it all on "the economy" managements new favorite word
