Ipad 2...should I buy?

If you have the funds and you KNOW you will use it, why not?!? I would love to have one (but I have spent the majority of my funds on my nearly four-year-old son's obsession with trains). From what I understand, there are at least 20 great apps for the iPad: http://onlinenursepractitionerschools.com/20-incredible-ipad-apps-that-will-revolutionize-nursing/. And, I am sure there are many, many more out there not mentioned. Good luck with your decision! (If anything, I'm betting Angry Birds looks awesome on the bigger screen!)

I love mine! I use it so much more than my lap top. I'm actually on it right now. There are so many uses for it. I don't leave the house without it!

OMG I've heard great things, not only about the Ipad, but for the Iphone as well... nursing apps can make things so much easier; at the touch of your finger-tips in less than a minute. If only I had the funds to afford one....

But if you can, get one!!!!

Ohhh, I'm jealous. I love anything Apple, especially my iPhone. I recently bought a new iMac. I considered getting an iPad instead but figured a laptop was more practical for doing school work on.

I've pondered about the iPad myself, but am just not quite sure yet! I do love my laptop, and the iPad would definitely be a lot more mobile and easier to fit in my backpack, but not sure I'll have the funds for an iPad. I think I'm going to wait it out to see just how useful it could be in NS, as opposed to my laptop.

I looooooooooooooove my ipad. I just finished taking the NCLEX and used it to study EVERYWHERE! There are some really good apps for studying both for your classes and for the NCLEX. I think it is a great investment and well worth the purchase for school.

I absolutely positively looove my Ipad 2. I have a laptop and also a netbook. I use them all. I love the ipad because it is easy to carry around. The ipad doesn't have Flash player to view certain things. Outside of that it is very fast!!! The way I was able to decide was going on youtube they have people on there who can tell you the difference between ipad1 and 2. Good luck in your research.

Love my iPad 2.. I don't go to school anymore but I know I'd use this thing more than laptop. It's sooo portable and no need to carry your notebooks anymore since you can have it all on your iPad.God luck

YES!!! I have one and love it.......It's amazing to say the least :) If your going to get a pad/tablet definately opt for the Apple...

I like my iPad 2 and I can see some uses in school. I actually plan to get an iPhone when I go to nursing school though. I think between that and my laptop, I'd be set.

I use my iPad2 for everything. I love it!!!

And like laski stated there are TONS of Medical Apps
