Yes, as long as I hold my nursing license, I will always carry my own insurance. I use NSO.

I buy professional insurance but it isn't limited to alleged negligence; it covers me if I have to defend myself for any accusations associated with my position as a school nurse. There are situations that could arise from the school setting that could ruin a career from allegations not associated with professional "negligence."
