As you KNOW we ask ALL students to post what they think and what their research has revealed to them first. What semester are you?

As you know.....We are happy to help. AN is different than other forums. We are a community of nurses who seek to elevate the profession we hold so dear to our hearts. Giving you the answer isn't going to help you learn or help you become the best nurse you can be.

What would important concepts...in your opinion.

Patient safety, staffing ratios, continuing education.

Is this homework?

Specializes in Stepdown . Telemetry.

Agree. Giving you single word concepts are easy to list, super easy to google within 1 minute. So in terms of the profession, you are not elevating yourself or becoming a more complex thinker without actually developing the thinking.

With that said, a concept of nursing worth pondering is: Critical thinking...not just learning concepts but acquiring the thinking tools and understanding.

Work through some of the concepts and let us know what u discover, if u decide to reply, which is always nice...
