Don't forget that as of yesterday (28th August) you can pay $1000 for a 15 day expidited service as nursing has just been added to the qualifying list. No good if you're affected by retrogresion type issues but if you're from the UK it could help speed things up a little.
I don't know all the ins & outs of it & I don't think you can apply the fee retrospectivley but you might like to try & check it out with your immigration lawyer/agency or the US immigration website

That only applies to new petitions submitted after the 28th and after. It cannot be applied to any that are currently waiting.
that would be good news for me as mine has not yet even been filed. so what would i do there. contact ogp and tell them id wish to do that?
i know a similar thread has been posted before about timelines etc i just want to know specifically i-140 waiting times and any major problems people have had. sorry if you think im going over old ground:rolleyes:
Good news for me too as I just got a job offer!!!:w00t:
I'm checking out the contract right now but as far as I can tell there's no nasty surprises. The get out fee is really low compared to others I've seen. The pay isn't fanstastic but it's not horrendous either & it's certainly more than I get here in the UK! I'll look on it as paying back a loan through my wages! It's a means to an end anyway!!
I'm really excited & if this $1000 for expediting works for me then I''ll be even happier!! Actually I noticed that on the contract they re-imburse N-CLEX fees etc up to a max $1000 so maybe they'll re-imburse it I-140's way!!
Well I'm just too excited for words right now so I'll go now before I bore you anymore!!
Sorry - don't know how that posted twice - guess I'm just a bit too excited!
