home for battered nurses!

Well, I just had a brainstorm! Why doesn't somebody open a home for battered nurses?! Maybe one in each area of the country. The homes could offer spa treatments with special attention to the hands and feet, healthy balanced meals that require being eaten while sitting down (what a concept), programs on relaxation techniques, soft fluffy down-filled bedding, etc. The "home" would admit licensed nurses only and would require a 3 day minimum stay. Aahhhh... I could very well be the first one there! :lol2:

Sounds like a great idea to me. Every country should have them.

HMmmmm, new business idea anyone?

Sign me up, I'll sure they'll be waiting lists for months and months.

We have these.

They're called "hotels."

These homes should be compensation for what we go through, i.e. make them free! You know, like every time you get abused you earn points which add up to time allocated? I wish...

Actually, there are places here in Oz which cater to nurses wanting/needing some much deserved R&R.

In fact, some years ago, prior to retirement, I enquired into one in Victoria. It would have been pure bliss! I never did go. :)

I've always said, if I win the BIG one, I'd open a retirement home/nursing home for nurses. AND..... I would personally select the staff! ENSURE that we had only the best caring for people.

Then it occurs to me............. at my age, I'd be the one IN the home!! Bwahahaha!!!!

OK so where am I going because I'm pretty sure I have the points.

Why not have a party of sorts.Like a real nurses convention no classes only vendors with food and productsfor free.lest we forget R & R.and lets make it for 4 days.

Other wise I may not want to go back..........LOL

Honestly wouldn't that be a great experience.

Sign me up please, i could use some tlc about now

...with free round-trip airfare where necessary, limo to and from airport. And everyone going gets a commemorative set of scrubs...
