Hi, Elaine!
What it means is that you scored a 93 in Math, a 96 in Reading, an 84 in Science, and a 91 in English. Every school interprets these scores the way they feel meets their own purposes. So, it is totally up to the LPN program that you applied to as to what they do with them. They will determine whether or not your scores are within a certain range that they have decided is the best predictor of success in their program. If your scores meet their requirements, then I'm sure you'll be hearing from them.
Welcome to allnurses! :welcome:
Hi my name is elaine and I have just got through taking y teas test I am hoping to get into the lpn program but i don't know yet I scored in the 95 percentile of the program does anyone know what that means I made a 93 in math a 96 in reading a 84 in science and a 91 in english
Good luck to you I'm sure you will get in. You picked the right place to come to for great information. Welcome!
In my program the scores did not matter it was strictly Pass/Fail on this test. At my CC they add this score to other factors, including overall GPA and grades in Sciences and Math Prereqs. They look at the whole student, do you skip class, have you completed more of the prereqs than the required 12 hour minimum, that kind of thing. Some of it is just fate or luck or God, because I wasn't sure I would get in but I did. Hope this helps!
well I just found out that I am number 49 on the list and they only take 40 I still have to wait because there are some more people that have not taken the teas so I may be an alternate but we all know that is not good so I am really down now it is not official that is what the counselor told me but the letters have not gone out yet
