I want to read her book now.

Summer reading list: Lice and the People Who Study Them.

Each species has its own distinct louse, they don't seem to cross species, though I have not done an exhaustive search.

A louse by any other name...

Lice come from the schools. Parents always tell me that's where their kids got it. It's not in their homes.

So, what you're saying is when God created the earth, He created an elementary school, inhabited with lice, that wasn't recorded in the Bible and thus the genesis mechanism for the proliferation of head lice. Hmmm, interesting concept. You may be on to something!
