This is a perdicament! Most facilities I have worked in will not let family members work where one would supervise the other. My best advice would be have your fiance interview and at the end mention your relationship adding that she hopes it won't interfere with being considered for the position. Good luckto you both!

I would mention it up front. We had relatives working our floor, often they would just put one on a different shift than the other. What you don't want is to appear as if you had withheld information in the interview. Because sooner or later, everyone will know about your relationship.

Let them know now.

I would let them know ASAP - you don't want to mess it up for both of you. It may be fine. Where I work - it is allowed to have family in the same department if they are in equal postions and one or the other doesn't have any authority over the other. Also try to search for the policies for that particular company. GOOD LUCK to you both!

I personally wouldn't say a thing until after she got offered the position.

Legally, you can't be asked about marital status during an interview, so I wouldn't disclose anything that I didn't have to.

you need to be honest. if not, things could be much worse! they may be able to work something out anyhow, you never know. i do understand that its a scary prospect though.. gl!
