Its been really hard to get a nursing job in northeast ohio for new grads, but I recently got one and am orienting to the position now. My fiance who also graduated with me has been searching and the only offer she has gotten was just yesterday for an interview on my floor! (We are also expecting in January) Now we dont know what to do, should we disclose to the nurse manager that we are a couple, or let her get the job first then do so, we dont want and more importantly cant afford to screw this up. What should we do because people will eventually talk and know we are a couple and we are afraid they could fire us for not disclosing that we are engaged before she were to accept a position.

I'm graduating from nursing school outside of Cleveland, Ohio in May and am looking to move to San Antonio in August if possible with my fiancee who is also graduating from nursing school with me. I will take my state boards in June in Ohio. What are some hospitals in the San Antonio area, in the city or outside the city that we could apply to and what are the chances of us finding jobs and also what is the pay like? I plan on getting my ADN this May and hopefully my BSN within a year and a half. I would like to do something with computers though also, is there anything I can do with my upcoming nursing degree and computers in the hospital and make a nice pay check that I can use to help start a family?
