Maybe pregnant woman with abusive spouse?

  • Author

thank you..i think that's a great suggestion :)

What about a homeless woman? Or a young teen?

  • Author

thank you for the reply..hmmm...a homeless woman, i think that's a good one as well but i think i will have problems on creating the scenario..i mean how she got pregnant and homeless and everything :uhoh21:

teenage pregnancy is also a nice topic as well but i think a lot of students have already thought of that since it is quite a popular issue nowadays..but thank you so much for the reply

First, I love your beagle Canesdukegirl. Beagles rock. I have a fat one at my feet right now...her 12 year old heart is young at heart.

Second...hmm another Silver on here...okay cool I guess. Heehee.

Third. The girl could be homeless because her father kicked her out. Her mom may have passed away a few years back and looking to feel special or loved by someone she ends up pregnant by her boyfriend who is long gone. She is getting help by friends from school but since they are minors themselves she can't get much help. Her dad has worked two jobs to support her and keep the house he has since her mom passed away and is not home much, therefore she feels unloved or neglected by her dad emotionally and thus tried to find support in her boyfriend. A vicious circle. Not in school, can't get a job, can't get a job, can't support herself, upset her dad, he kicked her out. She has to reconnect with her dad and communicate her feelings of loss and such to regain the close relationship they had and he in turn can help her and support her through a very hard time. Or something like that.

Fourth. You are going to get blasted for asking for help with an assignment on here because people will think you should do it on your own. Just warning you! Have a good one Silver!

thank you for the reply and for the warning, i didn't expect an actual scenario what i wanted was just suggestions or broad situation since the "psychosocial problem" part was not very clear to me..i think my comment on i will have problems with creating scenario for the homeless girl is quite misleading..instead of just simply verbalizing my concern, it looked like i wanted people to create an actual scenario..but thank you again for evreyone's concern :)

Psychosocial is anything influencing in one's social life that can affect one's psychological health.

Woman going through a divorce

Single mom who was fired

Boyfriend leaves the woman after she becomes pregnant and is denying paternity

Family throws out daughter after she becomes pregnant out of wedlock

Couple of different races and one or both families are prejudiced

Domestic abuse

Death of a husband/partner/close family member

Death of another child

Severe illness of another child (maybe cancer)

Finding out the baby has a genetic defect

I hope that gives you some options to choose from!

Any unplanned pregnancy can be stressful,

how about an older mother 40+ years of age, husband has been laid off for the last 2 years home is being foreclosed on, already have 2 kids to support and finds out she is pregnant.

a homeless woman with substance abuse issues has already lost 4 children to the foster care system, is pregnant and wants to keep this child

a young newlywed couple pregnant for the 1st time facing mutiples or a child with genetic complications requiring mutiple surgerys after birth

woman or teen girl from an extremly religous background/family and is pregnant out of wedlock

pregnant and SO is enlisted and overseas

Most of us don't mind helping with homework. Asking for brain storming ideas is not writing the paper for you. I am one of "those" who believes that homework is meant to be done by the student. There are many who post not looking for help....but answers.

Now for ideas. The use of sperm of a deceased husband against his family wishes.

There was a thread on this and you might find a lot of different prespectives from everyone's feelings and prespectives. You can also go the "Octomom" route. A single mother of multiples using IVF to have another child. There were plenty of stories on that one.......how would you help either of them even if you disagree with her decision.

I hope that helps........

Silverapple, I'm going to be the old meanie. I've looked at all your postings. Most of them are asking for help with homework. While I know we have lots of good ideas, some of the things you ask are basic knowledge or easily thought-through. Several things you're wanting answers for, are also, without doubt, in your textbooks. Your instructors are good resources too, and most are glad to help with such things.

Are you wanting to be part of our community and that's why you're posting these things? We're glad to have you here!

Please, please, please do your homework yourself.
