Getting the CPNE STudy Guide (AKA The Carjack)

Wow, I just called EC to see how soon they could send it out (and if they would do it before I'm CPNE eligible), and the rep verified my address and phone, and said it would be here in 7-10 business days.

That really took me back. I expected to her within one or two exams of eligibility maybe, but not whenever you request it. But, I'm guessing they do it for enrolled students only.

And now, to place my disclaimer sticker, for any newbies:

Do not do this unless you are sure you are well on your way to the CPNE (no more breaks), because they make changes often. The current edition is the 14th, and NOT the 13th like people are advertising on eBay.

You do realize that it's not THE CARJACK anymore, right? It's a make-your-own-carjack -- i.e., a CD with one ginormous file for you to print. :D It's 502 pages. Yikes!

OMG are you serious? Are they supposed to give us a credit on the CPNE for how much this will cost to print, or something? This is ridiculous, and it sucks... hard!!!...

Using one of Sue's terms here, I wonder which ASSCLOWN thought that up.

lol.....

Let me tell you.... I was very surprised to receive my CPNE CD in the mail. I called Staples to see how much to print it and they said $45.00 I ended using my brother-in laws printer because mine was not working. 2 ink cartridges later it finished printing. The next day my brother-in- law called to let me know I burnt up his printer:o

The $45 now doesn't seem so bad.

I used my printer to print it as well. Bought a binder and a pack of paper. I had enough ink cartridges though. It's not double sided though, so I had to use 2 binders to fit everything. My printer is fine though, fortunately. Sorry to hear it burnt up your brother-in-laws printer.
