FTCC Fall 2016

Hey, everyone! I am new to this site, and am looking for others in the same boat as me! I am just getting ready to submit my applications for Fall 2016. So far I am applying to two schools, one being FTCC. Is anyone else applying to Fayetteville Tech for Fall 2016? I'm trying to see about where I might stand...what is the max number of points we can have towards admission (including the 15 bonus points we can get at the information session)...is it 95?

Oh, I thought the people who commented on this thread counted their points based on the new system. Did you apply this time?

And you should ask the advisor! I meant the ladies at the nursing secretary office.

I don't think they did, but I could be wrong. One of the nursing instructors actually sent my application in for me back in November. Haha. I'm getting so anxious waiting. I would call and ask, but I don't want to seem annoying. Lol

Oh I see. Do you know if they still caculate A for 4 points, B for 3, C for 2? And do you have any idea what is good points to get accepted?

Yes that's still how they do it. And I'm honestly not sure, I think when my advisor was talking to me about it before I applied, I think I remember her saying 40-45 points, but I could be wrong.

Cool... If they still count points that way then I am on a safe line. Ok, it sounds like we have to wait until like June to know if we are accepted or not lol. Long waiting....

Who told you June? Lol. The nursing instructor that sent in my application said we should hear around the beginning of March.

Oh okay. I talked to one of lady at the secretary office. Not an instructor. Ok, keep me updated regarding the process! I will do the same

Hey everyone! My previous account on here is akb5050 but I kept getting locked out of it so I made a new one. I finished all of the pre-req courses as well as the TEAS, and applied so now I am just waiting to get in as well. Has anyone heard anything new yet? I'm so restless waiting to hear something.

Hey, I applied this month. I finished all pre reqs except A&P2, and made all of them A. And finished TEAS. Did you receive any email from them since you applied? I only saw a confirmation page after I applied, but there was no followup email or anything.

Hey! :) I only saw the confirmation page but I saved it for my records just in case. On the confirmation page it says that we'd received the HARF email approximately 6-8 weeks after the date of applying in web advisor. Do you happen to know the amount of points needed or around the number they are aiming for this year? I passed all of the pre-reqs with A's and B's as well.

We won't find out anything until around March unfortunately. I'm getting nervous waiting too. Lol

Alrighty, well time will go by quick! It seems like just yesterday we started chatting about he program and it's already been almost two months. We get points for all the pre-few classes listed on the nursing brochure other than the humanities fine arts elective, correct?
