FTCC Fall 2016

Hey, everyone! I am new to this site, and am looking for others in the same boat as me! I am just getting ready to submit my applications for Fall 2016. So far I am applying to two schools, one being FTCC. Is anyone else applying to Fayetteville Tech for Fall 2016? I'm trying to see about where I might stand...what is the max number of points we can have towards admission (including the 15 bonus points we can get at the information session)...is it 95?

I haven't gotten one yet, I thought it would come instantly but nothing for me so far.

Do y'all know if there is a Facebook group for our class? I would like to know if anyone lives near me, so we can start meeting people and forming study groups!!

That's a good idea! I just made one: FTCC ADN Class of 2018!

Hi ladies.. I really hate to hope on this post y'all had going, but this site is super confusing to me. Lol. So I just applied for the program apparently, (my advisor did it for me) for start of fall 2018, and I am super confused about this point system, how to calculate my points ect. I already took my TEAS and everything, now I'm just super nervous about it, and this waiting isn't helping. Can somebody explain how to calculate points to me? and what are the max possible points?

I am currently in the Lpn program at Ftcc and I can tell you this, If u have As or Bs on your prerequisites and you took teas and got the required grade..I think it's a 55...Then you would be fine. They take like 75 students!!! This is distributed between Days, Nights, and Spring Lake Night classes. It wasn't hard to get into. I honestly love the program! We only lost 1 person so far due to grades and maybe 3 due to not passing the math exam after the 3rd attempt (over a course of 3 months). Our class has about 20 people now and most of us are doing exceptionally great! Good Luck to you!!

That's awesome! Does it work the same for the ADN program? Because that's the one I applied too.. Would you happen to know anything about it?

I heard the ADN program is extremely hard! Idk though. I follow a fb group of students in the ADN program and I saw that a lot of people didn't make it to the second semester. Im not familiar with their point system though. I did hear that it went from 5 to 4 semesters starting in the Fall and they no longer require CNA 1. Also I heard that they will offer Spring and Fall entry.

That does not make me feel better. Haha. Great, like the program itself is hard? Or getting in? Probably both. Lol. I think I'm also going to apply to Robeson Community College ADN program too though, so we will see.

Hey guys! I know I am jumping on this thread really really late lol, but I start the ADN program at FTCC in January and I was just wondering how yall's experiences were with the program? Did you like it?

Hey girls, I am going to apply this month (December) with hopes to get into the program fall 2018 as well.

Hey, I applied like two days ago for 2018 Fall. Hope we can share the process together here! I am not quite sure how many points are ok to fet accepted to the program.

The advisor told me that people around 40-45 points got accepted, but now that I read comments on this website, it seems like you need more points than that.

This is an older thread, and I've heard they've changed a lot with their ADN program, so points probably changed too. But that makes me feel a little better! Haha. I haven't asked my advisor to much because I don't want to annoy her. Lol
