  1. Yep you can actually take bio 168 along with your first nursing classes now because they changed the curriculum however you have to have a B in both 168 and 169 to move past your third semester so I reccomend taking them before applying that way if you don't come out with a B you can retake them before starting nursing classes because it's a lot to take those along with your nursing classes.
  2. Your grades in the required classes are some of the things you calculate so if you have an A in Bio 168 you get four points, a B in bio 168 you would say three points and so on. When I talked to the director of the program she told me that it really changes each semester, as far as how many points you need to get in because obviously there's a new set of applicants each time so it just depends on how many points they have that kind of determines how many you will need to be accepted.
  3. I had 63 points and almost everyone I talked to had between 30 and 40. Some of them made it and some didn't. I'm not sure the top number of points for our class though. I know two of the girls that I know, and also got in the program had 57 points and I know you can get more points than I did but I don't know the exact number. However, as long as you make A's and B's on the classes that they look at and calculate into points you will be fine! I would also see if there was anything else on the competitive points list that you could get extra points for, like the Nurse Aid.
  4. Hey guys! I know I am jumping on this thread really really late lol, but I start the ADN program at FTCC in January and I was just wondering how yall's experiences were with the program? Did you like it?
  5. Hey guys! So I have a question about Fayetteville Techs nursing program. I start in January!!! So exited I can't hardly contain myself but anyway, I have read reviews from 2012 that say it's unorganized but every time I've contacted them and had questions they've been great about keeping me up to date and answering my questions. Just wondering if anyone had any new reviews? Has the program changed in the last few years? Just want to know what I'm walking into! Thanks y'all
