Well I didn't even do my application, one of the instructors for the program did. Lol. And she emailed me back and said I should expect an email early March.

Okay sounds good!

I just received a email from the nursing dept. My points are 64 according to the attachment and it says I have been entered into the Health Competitive Process as a Category 1 applicant. I guess I am in??? IDK lol. How about you??

I am still going to submit the bonus point sheet to get higher points.

I guess we have to wait until May to hear anything official. I hate all this waiting. Lol. My advisor also isn't very helpful, like never emails me back or returns phone calls. Have you hear anything? The only thing I've heard is that there isn't info sessions anymore? I wonder why.

I have not. After we submit the additional points sheets, I think we will hear if we are in or not. But at least we are on the Category 1 which sounds like preliminary acceptance to the program!!! Good luck :)

Yeah, that is a little reassuring. I don't have any extra points though I was a CNA but I let that expire, and it was for a different state so I didn't have time to renew it for NC before the application period closed or before extra points are due. From reading previous threads about this program I don't think we will hear anything until May, which sucks.

I just read through the program info on the schools website, it says we will find out acceptance 6-8 weeks after HARF are sent out. So we have about 5-7 weeks left before knowing anything. Lol. And all it says about the categories is that category 1 applicants will be placed from highest points to lowest, then they will move onto category 2 applicants I'm guessing if they have any seats left.

Did you get an email from the health dept? I received an email yesterday saying that I am conditionally selected. I need to submit a registration card or whatever to keep the seat.

Is this for the RN or LPN program?
