Friday 13th 75 questions down!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you........and to answer your question, there is another thread going on someone who got 75 and failed...but still it is very slim compared to pass (I think).

stay positve!! remember the odds are so highly in your favor! i think 75 is a good sign, and i can't wait to hear that you passed. hang in there....you'll find out soon that you're an rn.... someday this (torture??) will only be a memory.

sorry to say, but i'm definitely glad to see people in the exact same boat as myself. i started the nclex at 1:30pm today and finished at 3:15 with 75 questions. i don't know what to say and i'd hate to endorse drinking but that's what i'm about to do!!! i feel weird talking to my classmates that also completed the test today because most stopped somewhere in the hundreds, one finishing with 265 questions!!! they think i passed and they failed.

i'm not a superstitious person by nature but i sure did put my belongings in locker #8, did my test in station #8, and dialed my fiance after the test who just happens to be #8 on my one touch dialing!!

Yeah it can happen I failed with 75 questions before. It's so hard to stay positive when you have to re-take the test. That is the situation that I am in but things will get better. I hope you pased though. As for me I have to bring out the study books again.

I feel like a got a lot of "what needs further teaching" and a LOT of priority and i mean a LOT "who do you see first"

I did the same thing. Put my things in locker 7 and sat in chair 7. Got 75 questions and passed. I was the first to get up and was sure I failed. I am sure you did well.

I also took my boards on Friday the 13th. The computer shut off at 76 questions..not sure what that means but I know that I got the last question correct. I hope that is a good sign since it could have kept asking me questions if I missed it. I had lots of teaching/priority questions with some pharm, tb, hep questions thrown in. The stress of waiting for the results is going to cause me to have an ulcer and for my family disown me. I am sending good vibes to all that took the test that day that we all passed. Please post when you know your results...

Well, I took my exam on the 12th of july and also received 75 questions, and my pc cut off in 45 minutes leaving me shocked, scared and wanting to cry. I was so sure i failed. I hear you either do really really well and it cuts off at that number or you do really really bad and it cuts off at that number, however i did pass thank goodness...... I kid you not it felt as if i had an out of body experience while answering the questions I can only remember 4 of the 75 i received and they were very hard to me. I had a lot of questions on Cholestitis or however you spell it and tons of check all that apply, boy i was shaking in my seat. I do remember one on osteoporosis and several on cushing's and Myasthenia Gravis (im a horrible speller forgive me). I wish luck to all those who are testing in the future. stay positive
