Long time lurker. First time poster in the group. I just completed my first full week as the School Nurse at a Jr-Sr High School with approximately 800 students. I can't believe how much I love this job! Thanks to reading all of the many topics within this group, I felt much more prepared thanks to all of you awesome School Nurses, so thank you!! Wow have I seen a lot this week! Looking forward to learning much more and developing my own style that works for me. Have a great weekend all!

Congrats on making it through your first week. Each week gets a little easier and by next year, you'll feel like a seasoned SN and will be here offering up advice to the newbies!

Welcome Welcome!
I'm glad you are starting off on the right foot. Every day really is different in this role, which is one of the many reasons why I like it so much!
