Finally got my CPNE date!!

I just got a call from the MPAC area they asked if I wanted a cancellation date!!! I said yes, I test July 22-24 in Milwaukee. That gives me 5 weeks to get my butt in gear!! I've already been using Robs DVDs and I just signed up to do Sheri's online workshop!!! Boy am I nervous!!! GN status here I come :)

    No not yet, but anxiously waiting! I applied for all in mpac except lubbock. Is your grid massive? I keep thinking- how am i going to memorize everything in all these squares?!

    I have about half of my mneumonics memorized now, and I was thinking on my grid I am only going to use the Overriding, Required and Select AOC's rather than writing out everything, to save time. My grid is def not massive :-)

    You will remember, don't try to memorize all at once. I am working on 4 topics right now, and once I feel like I have a good hold on those, I will do four more, and so on.

    I put my 15 minute checks at the top of the grid. I put the mneumonic on the grid for what ever areas I had to cover, i.e. respiratory, etc. I wrote the grid on the back of the care plan booklet. Know, know, know your critical elements. Most of all, keep focused. Best of luck!

    So u only wrote on back what was assigned correct?

    Yes, I only wrote only what was necessary, because you don't have a lot of time and you need to stay focused.
