Hi! I got my background check results. Did you get something about your fingerprints back? I did the fingerprinting today but all i have is that page you print out to bring to the store to get it done.

Yea I did mines today, and the only reason they contacted me about my fingerprinting because I have give them a disposition that shows dismissal on something on my juvenile record I was accused of something that I didn't do (goody two shoes lol) on vacation in NC when I was like 15 and the charges were eventually dropped ... So if you did it today they got results today...

Moecato...I am also going through my primary care doctor for all of my titers, physical and vaccinations.

yes, I definitely think we all should meet up at orientation. Can't wait to meet everyone.

I think we ran into each other today at the UPS Store. Nice to see ya on here as well :)

Hello guys... here are a few things I found out

Do not wait to get your titers. The Varicella vaccines are only mailed out on Wednesday and then they take a week to get back. So, for example, if you go get them done on a Thursday, it will take about two weeks to get them back! I would reccomend going on a Monday or Tuesday, therefore it only takes about a week.

Also, TDAP has the Teatnus vaccine in its composition. Therefore, it would be wise of you to get the TDAP instead. Northside Clinic does ALL of the vaccinations and gives a discounted rate to FCCJ students. I heard the lady behind the desk telling another Nursing student that piece of information. Some girls from Keiser were paying twice what we pay for the same things!

If any of you work at hospitals, I would get your employee health information. Crystal Porter told me that she would take any information from a hospital. That could save you some money.

If you would like to save $22.00, do not get the Hep B titer. You can sign the Declination form in the packet. I only got the required titers and paid $95.00. When I go back to pick up my titers, I am going to have my physical and immunizations done!

Darn! I wish I had known they would have taken my work info. I work at a hospital. I just paid 117$ for titers!!!! Oh well I know for sure they did not have my pox history , so I would have needed that anyway.

That's my plan too! I went on Monday to get titers and drug test and I believe on Wed is when they told me the results will be back, I am going to get my physical, vaccination and ppd when I return to get my results! They saved me a lot of money!:yeah:

How many vials of blood did they draw from you guys? I only received one I hope that was enough I paid $117 for that!

Hello.

I'm just wondering. If you haven't receive a letter yet, is that mean you're on the declined list?!

I am going to try to convince my job that I need another ppd......lol Maybe the nurse over in employee health will help me out:)

You're good Janobia! They only need 1 ml actuallly to do those titers. They spin in down and condense what they need! You're good!

They only drew one vial of blood! Believe me... The one vial is plenty. They call that a rainbow tube. They take small samples from that one vial.

I was told by the FSCJ nursing office that you will get a letter one way or the other! Good luck! Oh, BTW, spoke with the office yesterday morning and they told me that they mailed out "more letters" yesterday morning. She had no idea if the were acceptance or deny! I hope they are notices to fill the spots that became available on Monday from those that had to decline their seats.
