FCCJ Fall 2008

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

hey everyone!!

i got the revised agenda for monday and it says at the top 9-1:30 and the schedule starts at nine, but i just want to double check that its not types wrong...since so many of us have noticed typos or wrong answers in the independent studies..... in the original papers it said 8:30. if anyone can confirm which one it is id appreciate it...i dont want to have to get an answer back from miss emily between now and tomorrow.

just like on page 6, it says "all decimals must have a zero before the decimal point examples: 0.1 is written correctly, 0.2 is written incorrectly and will be graded as wrong- please be careful" now how is 0.2 written incorrectly. have they ever heard of proof reading! maybe they should "be careful". has anyone else noticed this or am i dumber then i thought?!?!? i mean it makes me wonder about the rest of the answers for the all the independent studies. i don't want to have to check the "right" answers all the time.:heartbeat

i have noticed those things too. it is hard to believe that books can have these kinds of mistakes when we pay so much for them.

That handbook is confusing. What all are the pages we need to know? I read through everything just in case. LoL.

And also... I spent my last free day in Orlando today. Oh yeahhhh. "Calm before the storm." Haha.

I'm guess I am weird too I also like the math part. I finished the dosage calc today and am pleasantly surprised how well it went.

thank you for posting that. i'm not consistently getting email from ms. emily and without it i woulda been lost tomorrow wondering what the heck is going on. just in case, has ms. emily sent out any email since the 21st?

The last email I received from miss emily was on the the 23rd (yesterday) about the new agenda. If you need me to email it to you, id be happy to just private message your fccj email to me and ill send it. :)
