FCCJ Fall 2008

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Best of luck & success to all!!!

wow, there are section 14's now?! craziness.

I'm in section 11 and live in Macclenny (cue the crickets). I still hold out the hope of carpooling but it's doubtful. I've been reading too and some of this stuff is going to seriously challenge my love of reading. Today is a long day (gone from 12:15 to about 10 I guess). I don't have time to go home in between my 1-4 and 6-9 class so I guess I'll be getting to know the librarians. Despite the overwhelming work involved, I'm so excited about this! It's a new, challenging adventure. See you section 11ers soon.

I'm not sure if any of you are in need....but I've just started term 2 and I am wanting to part with some of my term 1 books...we can work out a good price...just send me a private message...

Also I have some killer study guides already in folders and ready to go that I would be willing to share for a little $ too (I wouldn't normally ask for any money...but trust me they're worth it!)

Have a great term one everybody!!

Uhhh! Just finished reading and printing after having to watch my sister's kids. Gotta get up at 6:30am. I am sure I will be drinking lots of soda tomorrow! Might just go ahead and have some coffee instead.

Okay...most of us are probably going to start posting on here less, so I'm trying to do this by word of mouth as well. I would like to set up a study session for Med Term and Dosc Calc this coming Sunday. I was thinking we could all meet at a Panera anywhere from 12 to 6. If you can please let me know on here and we can discuss which location would be best to accomodate all of us. Hope everyone is doing well and see everyone around.

Megan

Sounds great to me.

Yeah I super need to study the Med Term.

All of the instructors are pretty cool. Section 11 rocks....so far :D

...nevermind about sunday forgot I have to be at work....but maybe next time

What Panera would everyone like to meet at?? I'm trying to find a place convenient for everyone. I've had a couple places thrown out to me: San Jose, Riverfront Plaza (95 North, near school), Orange Park, Roosevelt. Which one would everyone like to meet at??

the panera by the school off of 95 would be the best for me.

now back to studying i go........week one of boot camp is almost over.:heartbeat

I've got family function that afternoon. Section 11 is pretty good so far, but we'll see on Friday how it goes. I've heard some things...

I really can't wait to start clinicals. The whole nurse thing will seem real to me then. Oh, when instructors talk about doing the questions at the end of each chapter, do they mean the NCLEX question sections? In some books, that's about all they have.
