Personally, did you have a favorite pre-req course that you took? Or maybe a course that you just enjoyed a bit more than all the others? If you did, why was that course your favorite?

Human Development is my favorite so far ? specifically the infancy section! But I love the topic and psychology in general.

A&P part 1 and 2. The human body is so cool! Learn this class and nursing school is much easier. (IMO)

I Loved microbiology....I dunno what it was but it was by far the most interested pre req I had. I think my husband hated it :D lol he was constantly hearing "I don't think I would touch that if I were you....it could have this and this and this on it" hahaha I'm pretty sure that got old

Microbiology! I guess I'm a lab geek. I just LOVE culturing samples and seeing what grows. The unknown sample for our final was so much fun. I love solving "mysteries" :)

My next favorite was Physiology because I love learning how everything works. Of all my pre-reqs, Physiology is the one we come back to again & again in the nursing program. If you don't know the Physiology behind the "why", then you're going to be lost in Med Surg.

While I didn't particularly enjoy Pharmacology, it's the 2nd most useful pre-req in the program. Pays off in clinicals when you know the mechanism of action, etc. when you're being quizzed by your clinical instructor before passing meds.

A&P for sure! This class was the most fun and most interesting. I second "The human body is so cool"!

I love A&P but man I had a great time in my Microbiology lab.

Microbiology. I found it so fun and interesting that I would take it again, if I could. I found the content absolutely fascinating, and the labs were so hands-on and interactive. It was really cool to have the thrill of figuring out an unknown.
