Hello everyone !
So I failed my NCLEX FIRST try. I used UWORLD and was scoring 43-56 percent on all my exams. I was selecting random 75 a day for about a month . So I took the assessment and scored a low chance but I Still went ahead and took the NCLEX since everyone said to not take UWORLD scores so seriously. So I took it and failed in 75 questions. Now I'm using UWORLD AGAIN , but this time around I broke it down into subcategories . I prepared a binder with all categories and subcategories and I AM WRITING DOWN ALL rationales when I'm wrong and writing things down that I DO NOT KNOW. I also have my labs down packed lol. I took one assessment so far and scored high chance of passing and my scores have either hit the average mark or HIGHER (58-68%). my question is has anyone else used UWORLD again for the second time around and passed? My scores are higher this time around by a lot and its not because I'm memorizing because I'm actually sitting here really analayzing the question and using "ABC"s before answering.

Be careful not to repeat the same questions. Instead of figuring out the answer, you may be remembering the correct answer from the first time you reviewed a test that contained that question.
oh I definitely do not remember the answers , my memory is terrible ! Lol . I still find myself stuck between two answers always . I do find that when I reread the questions and try to apply “ ABCs” and prioritize etc , I am scoring correctly.

I was doing some Uworld before my first attempt at NCLEX, and failed. Not at all knocking it, because I think it is excellent, but what put me over the top no doubt was a three day Kaplan refresher. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!
Thank you so much ! I actually stopped doing Uworld and started Kaplan as well. So far got a 62 on the nclex sample 2 exam and a 63 on the priority /delegation 50 question exam . Not sure how good those grades are but I’m trying .
kimd a 62 is what i got on the readiness kaplan. NCLEX was a battle but after kaplan i really felt NCLEX was an opponent that i could take, i felt like "bring it".
I haven’t taken the readiness exam I’m saving that for the week of my exam . I’m doing all the trainers now and the sample nclex exams . I’m scoring between 56-63. Praying these are okay grades . ??
your kaplan scores are pretty strong. I recommend don't let your guard down, go all in, let most everything else go until the test is over.

Invest in the Kaplan review course. It may very well be that you are fine on content but don't have a good grasp on how to read NCLEX questions. The Kaplan review course teaches you how to break those questions down to get either a firm "for sure it is this" grasp on the right answer or get it to a 50/50 shot.
Thank you
has anyone taken the Kaplan readiness exam? I took it yesterday and scored a 55 %....?
I also took 3 hurst simulation exam and my scores are as follows; 67/125, 71/125 and 66/125..... any feedback will be great. I hope to take this test soon and I want to know if with these scores I SHOULD TAKE it or hold off. Thank you everyone!

Our school has a Kaplan course, but we haven’t done it yet. The guy from Kaplan did say that you should take the NCLEX when you’re getting 65% consistently though. So you are getting there, but I wouldn’t take it yet.
