Failed Nclex..Again

I tool my nclex today, and did the PVT and payment went through. I'm now waiting on the official results that I FAILED. This will be my third and last time I'm able to test, if I re-take it. I am at a loss and completely devastated. The worse part is, I didn't even feel I was doing terrible before the computer shut off. I have now done Kaplan 2x and saunders and the pda book. I'm so heartbroken, my life is on HOLD and I feel like I will never get passed this!!! any suggestion?!!!!!!!!!!?

My suggestion would have been to not do the PVT prematurely, as you did. It's probable that you did fail, but you paid for a new test only after your exam was scored one time, not finalized. I'm hoping for your sake that you were an 'on the fence' score and that your second score is a pass (and you'll be out $200, but at least happy you passed).

Sorry it's going this way, but at this point, until you get official results....you can't be sure.

if I did indeed pass.. which I'm sure I didn't. I will be happy and won't even complain about the loss of $200. That is the truth. Thanks anyway.

Why do you say the this is the last time to take it?

I hope you passed. Don't give up.

Fill yourself with positivity, keep your heads up, and don't give up!!

I don't know why there a bunch of question marks...lok

I know how it feels not to pass.Dont give up,you got through nursing school and so this will also be a test that you conquer in the end. I also kept using kaplan and failing so the last time I decided to prepare with something different.I used the ncsbn 3 week review and the pda book.Kaplan did not work for me.My test seemed easier without the weight of the decision tree and wondering through every question if the decision tree applied. As you prepare to test again, pray everyday, visualize your name as a nurse and dont give up coz you will do it!!! And try to use a different way of preparation. That is what worked for me as a repeat taker of NCLEX.God bless you!!

If you take a remedial course you can't retest?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the HURST review best thing I ever did. I passed my first try in 75 questions. It was the best $350 I ever spent. I went to the live review as opposed to the online. Online review is $300-it's worth the extra $50 to have live in my opinion. I struggled through school some but I totally think HURST is what helped me pass. Kaplan didn't do much for me. Don't give up third time is the charm :-)

She/he will have to take a remedial course before the next attempt on NCLEX. Florida only allows 3 attempts and after that, remedial course is required.
