ENP Network

Has anyone used ENP Network to find an NP Preceptor? It's 90.00 so wanting to see if anyone has received good results with it before I wasted my money. :bored:

Anecdotally I have not seen good results. One of the reasons I transferred to a school that provides preceptors...

I also read on Facebook that the contacts were outdated and those listed would not respond. I am not throwing away 90.00. I think I am just going to pay a preceptor service to find one for me. With the overpriced tuition of the local brick/mortar school....it ends up about the same cost and I don't have to attend class an hour away.

Before you throw out your money, take a look on your state's NP organizations. Student membership is quite cheap, and they may have much more local resources to direct you.

If there is no other choice: Find Nurse Practitioner Preceptors - Clinical Match Me

They charge like $15 per hour, so standard 224 or so hours rotation will be in realm of $3500. But, if I understand it right, they do not charge till you are matched with preceptor.

So I wasted my money. Contacted lots of people on the ENP site and no one ever called or emailed me back. Fortunately it was a discounted rate.

Moral of the story....don't waste money on the ENP site.

I contacted Clinical Match Me and they don't have preceptors in the Denver area at all.

If you are really desperate there are several agencies who will find you preceptors guaranteed but the cost is usually 15ish for each hour...

I would gladly pay for a preceptor. I actually put an ad out on Craigslist but no one has responded. I have only found two placement services on the internet. Clinical Match Me doesn't have any in the Denver area and the other one never returned my call or email. I am not sure what to do at this point.

Google advanced practice prep , they have a clinical service with a guarantee.

I contacted Clinicalmatch me but unfortunately they can't find me coverage in Tacoma Washington. Desperation and faustration is an understatement. I know no one in Washington since we just moved here ( mil family )

ENP network is a waste of 90 dollars! I NEVER received a single response from any preceptor on their list!

I signed up for ENP as well and haven't heard anything. I'm seriously wanting to transfer to a school that provides preceptors.
