Does anyone know where I might be able to take a N95 fit test?

I have to have a N95 fit test with a Kimberly Clark brand N95 to start my first travel assignment. It is required by the hospital however they will not provide the test. My current hospital does not use that brand and I'm having trouble finding where I can have it done. Does anyone know where I might be able to do this? I live in Tallahassee right now and will be in central FL for a few days before flying to my assignment in NYC.

Your employer is held responsible by OSHA for safety related equipment, not you. That said, a quick Google will find testing available in your area.

Well my employer is technically the travel agency but I won't be near their office until the weekend before I start. And a long Google search got me nowhere.

Yes, your employer the agency is responsible to provide and pay for safety related equipment, testing and training. Try googling fit test. Just did and got lots of ads. Occupational health offices often do it too.

Once again will not be able to get to their office before my start date and I have to have it before then. And all those ads are for large group fit tests. Like I said I did extensive Google searches before this. However if your search found somewhere I can go to do it please share the link.

Exactly how did you find out that you needed to get a fit test? Your agency told you and said you are on your own to both to find a provider and pay for it yourself?

When I first started traveling last year my agency actually set everything up for me. I just had to provide my own mask. I just went to an urgent care. I'm in St. Louis (hometown) and I believe I went to Concentra....

You speak to your recruiter. They SHOULD tell you where the nearest site to get that done, is. Or transfer you to the individual that does that.

First, you switch companies. Go to one that doesn't leave you hanging. They shoulda been all over this, making the arrangements and finding the testing center.

I'm with American Mobile and they set this up for me with no problem. They sent me to some occupational health clinic with which they have an account. Not sure who you're with but I would insist on them handling this. You should not have to Google and find your own fitting. As a last resort, can your hospital in NYC fit test you at all??
