Does any of your collaborating MD/ delegating physician refuse for you to get DEA number and why? Ex: How do you go about an RX for a Controlled 3/4/5 that they want you to sign and say it is authorized by them yet..this is not even my collaborating md but they say "if this Rx is signed by x, x , or x (which are NP in the group practice) it is authorized by the MD. Example adipex for a diet center or ambien for sleep? Looking for help!!!

"Must be available by electronic means phone, email, etc". I also have a designated md if he is not immediately available. Yet...that other MD is only available about 5%. But if my collaboration MD is not actively practicing and out of the country, I would assume this collaboration agreement would be voided which would also void me consulting with the other MD.

info please..I work in Georgia where NP must have collaboration with physician to practice. What happens if the delegating physician stops working the office but still holds an active license? Example: moves to another country for time period to do mission work or such more than a year or so? Does this void the collaboration since he is not actively practice?

I did travel nursing for 2 years in l&d. 2 out of the 4 assignments required ACLS, circulating experience and PACU.

After 4 months, I have finally gotten my Cali license. Any recommendations on hospitals in northern Cali that are travel friendly with great pay? What are some of you travelers getting after taxes for pay and where are you located if you dont mind posting. Any info is greatly appreciated. I looked at some older post, but i was wanting to get some up to date info if possible!!

I just left Hawaii. I did not like it. I had to fight to get a rental car. The hospital staff were rude. The experience was ok but the money was terrible. It was not worth it.

It's not. I left early be I was always getting called off. I had to fight with my company for a rental car and other expenses. It's not worth the pay or aggravation.

This sounds horrible. I just left Hawaii. They should find your housing and pay for your flight there and home along with rental. Housing is not cheap and the pay was not owrth it. Don't go for the pay. You'll be disappointed.
