I see this term used here a few times, but don't know what it means. Google just sends me to Nursing Times, some kind of news agency.
NETY in terms of something negative in nursing, like for new grads complaining to NETY. Is it a Union group or something?

NETY = nurses eat their young. Do a search here on AN, and you will find plenty of reading material. (Hint: use the search bar in the upper right corner of this site, not Google's home page).
Oh. I'm well aware of the nursing culture somewhat being cruel on new members, and workplace politics. Thanks for the info, now NETY makes sense to me.

Some of us have used another (less-often-used) coinage: NETO. Then again, some of us are too old and tough to chew on
