Dean's List!!!

I'd like to start a thread where people can add their name to the "Dean's list" if they have done this. I think it would be fun and very supportive!! I for one am very proud to have made the Dean's list at school!! Anyone else? Let's keep this going!! Tell us what classes you had too...might give some of us a glimmer of hope that we can do it in that class also!! :D

TOOT, TOOT!!!

I just found out today that I also made the Dean's List!:roll I'm a part-time student, so at my school I had to have at least a 3.3 GPA after completing 12 credits in 2 consecutive semesters. Last semester I had Microbiology and Math (Drug Calculations) and earned an "A" in both. In January, I found out that I got into the nursing program. I had Fundamentals of Nursing and earned an "A-". I've completed 15 credits and my overall GPA is 3.84.

I was so intimidated by the Nursing program, that I never believed I could do so well. For anyone else out there who feels that way, study, stay on top of your readings, do NCLEX practice questions that pertain to your coursework to help prepare for exams and be confident. I'm now hoping to be invited to join the honor society and most definitely try my hardest to maintain or exceed my current GPA as I enter my second semester as a Nursing student in the fall.

Although It's been over 5 years since I've been a student, I made the Dean's List once during my college career. It was my second semester at college after flunking out of a hospital based diploma program. I got a 3.8 that semester. I took Biology, FrenchI, Finite Math, English II and another class that I can't think of. Was working 24-32 hrs a week too!

just found out i received the dean's scholarship for next year!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dean's list here too! (6 semesters)

Happy Nursing~Angie

Well......after a 5 year hiatus, I decided to go back to college since I didnt take it too seriously the first time around!

For 2 years now, I have been taking back to back semesters (year round) & working full-time. I have an overall 4.0 GPA and I also make the Dean's list depending on how many credits/courses I take each semester. I hope to continue doing as well when I get into the actual Nursing curriculum in August!

Well congrats everyone keep up the good work!

I've made the deans list a couple of times, Then I became a mother!!!!!

I've made all A's since then, but not taking enough hours to be on the list. Congrats to all.

Congratulations to each of you! I posted under another thread about my accomplishments. I just wanted to say, keep us the great work!
