CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

For the prerequisite course GPA does that include the Microbiology grades?

On nursingcas it says all prereqs will be computed except micro and stats. So only 6 prereqs. Does that sound right to you guys?

@c98fernandez I just saw your post from awhile back because I was scrolling to see if I missed any comments (about how to submit teas on nursingcas)! I submitted my overall teas report, but today I found the complete breakdown one and submitted that one too (lol!). I hope it's not a problem considering I sent them my report directly from the ati site as well. Anyone else do this :o

Where did you find the complete breakdown?

Yes that is correct! Those aren't included into the prerequisite GPA as you are still allowed to be currently taking those classes so it wouldn't be fair to include it into some applicants' GPA but not others.

Where did you find the complete breakdown?

Not gunna lie, it took me awhile. I clicked on the test form, it said TEAS Form B or something like that, and it took me to a brrakdown page.

Has anyone received emails from Csula? I noticed last year they were asking for transcripts at this point of the process. Just wondering if I'm the only one with no email 😔

I haven't gotten an email from them yet either! :o

Hi everyone! I contacted Ms. Ling, who is one of the nursing admission officers and she said we should be receiving emails on April :) Good luck to everyone!

Hi! My names Luisa! I am nursing student at CSULA BSN and was curious enough to check out whether or not you guys have made a forum just like my cohort did. I know you guys have already applied and I'm pretty late on being useful for applications but if you guys have any questions or need advice let me know! You can reach me through this website or even facebook! I'm Luisa Avagyan on fb, not very active besides nursing stuff! (: good luck to you all!!!!!!!

Just incase you may have wanted to know, I received my acceptance mid March, March 15 to be exact. (: It's different every year. Post when you get any news!

Hi there. I am applying for csula for Fall 2018 as well. I think I have 27-28 points. However, Long Beach is my top choice. and I haven't heard anything so far from both school. So anxious! Btw keep me posted, guys!
