CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

Hey! I wanted to start a forum for CSULA fall 2018. I have been looking everywhere for one! Anyways, just wanted to talk to others about their apps and such. This is kind of a nerve wracking experience, and I wanted to compare points/progress on the application. I tallied my points and I have 25. I hope it gets me in. Fingers crossed. I have also applied to a bunch of other schools, but CSULA is the dream :)

Ah pretty bummed out, just got an email from CSULA informing me that my admission was withdrawaled because of the whole transcript situation.

Sucks though since my transcript was postmarked on time, but I guess they based it off of when NursingCas was able to process / upload it. Good luck to everyone else! Hopefully i'll be able to get into some other programs. Sucks though since CSULA seemed to be the only BSN program that was plausible for me with my stats :(

Still waiting on an email, so ya know I'm just over thinking everything as of now. I'm worried about my work experience because it's not for a long time, and my employer isn't the most reliable. Also because on NursingCAS I added an additional TEAS document after the deadline.

I'm still waiting for an email as well. Have not received anything from CSULA just yet.

where did they send that email to? your personal email or through the csula portal?

On your CSULA portal does it say your application is incomplete with the yellow triangle? That just means its not been reviewed yet, right?

Do you currently attend CSULA?

Do you currently attend CSULA?

No. I'm applying as a transfer.

I do not believe that the portal would let us know if we are admitted to the nursing program. The portal will notify you for admittance into CSULA not the nursing program specifically. I currently go to CSULA as an undergraduate student, and I do not see anything stating incomplete regarding my status there.

Wow what! That sucks! I saw that you replied to me about how your thing was verified and arrived in red. How weird...

I got the email with the email I applied with. Most emails that have to do with admission, especially the one congratulating you if you're in will be with that. I was a CSULA student and still didn't receive it on the CSULA email. (: (it shouldn't be different this year)

The most reliable way to find out you have been accepted to nursing program is through their email. From my experience they didn't change my portal status to anything to do with nursing school until I verified that I will take the spot in the program and payed the orientation fee. (the first notification of acceptance is email)

Will the acceptance email be recieved in our personal email?
