CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

I just received an acceptance email! 2 AM! "Congratulations! On behalf of Cal State LA, it is my pleasure to offer you Fall Semester 2018 admission to the Nursing program."Does this mean that I'm in the program? This email came from Cal State LA... It clearly says nursing program acceptance though. Trying not to get my hopes up.

I received an email from CSULA saying that they were not able to admit me with my preferred major but to my alternate major, natural science. I had 27 points total and I've made no mistake in my calculation since friends have double checked for me. I guess CSULA really is extremely competitive. Good luck to everyone else!

call them ! sometimes, they miscalculate points. i read it on the 2016 thread and they were able to change her status.

I would like to extend my congratulations to those who have been accepted so far! The CSULA School of Nursing is a great one and I hope you guys are ready to experience three years with each other!

It would be smart for someone to start an FB page for Class of 2021, so you guys can meet and be comfortable with each other prior to starting the program!

Once again, congratulations to the ones who already got accepted and to those who will be!

I got an acceptance email today! And the GET portal now says admitted.

I believe it is to both the school and the program. If you didn't opt for an alternative major than you are either in or out.

Hello.. I got an admission letter too, but I checked the website and the NursingCas and it says we would know in April.. I just want to know if i actually got in the program before I get my hopes too high...😔

yes, I compeletely agree with you, it's most probably our acceptance letter. I didnt pick any alternative major so it's either i get a rejection or an acceptance letter right away. But, it is also said that admission to the SON is not confirmed until the email comes from them😩 I wanna believe that the emails we got are the real thing buuutttt this is mentally tormenting me. Maybe it's best if someone calls the SON for confirmation about emails on Monday to know for sure

Im just wondering, are you a current csula nursing student? any inside tips for us?

Also, do you know which hospitals they do their clinicals?
