CSULA BSN Program Fall 2018

I asked her if we could be denied entrance and she said that it is a possibility and not to pay the entrance fee until you get an official email. If it was just a formality then I believe she would have told me to pay the fee regardless.

I believe it was miss Florita? She also said "I don't have the list in front of me right now" in regards to people who got accepted so I believe that they already have a list comprised of people who are in. Maybe the SON forwarded that list to the admissions office and they sent out the email to us. This is all speculation of course.

She is a reliable source. She was the one in charge of our letters and deposit fee as well. I can ask around if you guys would like. In the letter, did it give you a deadline for the deposit?

Also did the email say, School of Nursing Final Decision? Maybe it is the acceptance letter but since deposits need to be made before April (if thats the case) it just means they still need to figure our who is attending and who is not. I hope it's just a misunderstanding and everyone who got acceptance letters are in!!!!

I'm confused on what caused this confusion haha. All I can say it Florita is a very reliable source. If you talk to her and she gives you information, it is usually correct. As a current BSN student I will see if I can clarify anything for you guys. If I get any information that will help you all, I will make sure to post(:

Our deadline was end of March. So it definitely is not the same case. Have you guys sent an email confirmation to Florita as the email should say? And if yes did she email back? I hate that you guys are so confused it sucks to get excited then have to worry again.

This is possible. I do know 3 people who have not received anything about admission.

The confusion has been worked out, we are accepted into CSULA as of now but not into the SON. The confusion stems from the fact that we got a letter from the admissions office congratulating us on our acceptance into the SON. The email should have been congratulating us on our acceptance into CSULA.

I believe it is a preliminary admission (or conditional as they call it), and so long as your transcripts check out in terms of what you reported on your admission, and you pay the deposit to reserve your spot, you should be okay. This is just my guess.
