Creative Nurses

I know that most of the nurses I know have some type of creative ability. I myself like to think I have a way with turning a phrase. I write all the time and write all sorts of things. I am currently writing a column for a local Nursing Newspaper. It is billed as commentary but hey at least it is getting out there. If you want to see the two articles I have written go to my www home at the bottom link.

I happen to be married to a nurse as well and she is very creative. She likes to decorate and arrange flowers and garden and she is very desirous of getting into photography I am looking to get her a decent camera for xmas.

Let me know what your creative abilities are. If you have a website or `anything feel free to post it here "within TOA" of course of allnuses.com

Louisepug - the pug actually belongs to my in-laws, he's a great dog! And he just loves to come over and visit his "cousins" Twinkie & Bacon (our chihuahuas) :D

I don't know if I'm all that "creative", but I do a fair amount of writing on the side and even publish a piece every now and again. I've written for several West Coast newspapers, including the LA Times and the Oregonian, and a couple of magazines. I love seeing something I've written in print, and I've gotten some really super feedback over the years from readers, so I keep at it even though I'll probably never be able to make a living from it.:)

Do you have anything you could share?

I knit and crochet. I Love to garden, but our growing season is very short.

I am very creative and wish that I had majored in art instead of nursing! LOL:p

I had a dancing school for 13 years where I taught ballet and jazz. Had a tap teacher that I hired. I have had a dolly pattern business and made patterns and took them to national wholesale markets.

I make original dolls, bears. I sculpt faeries in polymer. I crochet. I do watercolors and have sold a few. I do home decorating and do other's homes also. I love to sew and embroider. I love to garden and poke around in the yard.

All this and working 12 hours days!! Now that I am not working anymore, I don't do anything. Go figure that one out!:chuckle

I'm a crafter.. sewing/quilting, rubberstamping, crochet, cross stitch, recently enamored with mosaic tile pieces, and wanting to learn to mosaic.

I want to be able to "do it" without taking the time and expense to "learn it" LOL
