COT and running

Hi everyone! I'm planning on going to COT and was wondering if we are able to listen to music as were running? I love running but I am awful when I do not have any music to keep me going. Thanks so much in advance!

They play music while you're running over a loudspeaker. They didn't let anyone wear an iPod while I was there. The music becomes a bit of a joke but we had a lot of fun with it while I was there.

Yeah, the music they play is hilarious! I like to run with music too and thought it would be bad without it. There are so many people out there running with you that you tend to forget about it. The good news is that when you finish with COT the "real AF" lets you listen to your iPod, even when you are taking your PT test.

Until you've run to "Funky Cold Medina" at 0500 you really can't say you've lived... :)

How hard is COT?? what exactly is involved?

I feel sorry for anyone who lives "down-wind" from that track. I would be so mad if I had to wake up to any one of the songs they blasted at that early hour!

It's probably like when I lived almost right on the flightline - after a while you don't even hear the C5s firing up at 0430 in the morning...at least, I hope they don't...

The music sounds fun, we don't have that here at BOLC. I miss running w/ my music of choice...cadences. LOL. But ofcourse off duty running you can wear music.

OK, this is just plain funny!! How long do you run before you stop laughing?
