ok i'm feeling a little mental and overwhelmed. i decided it would be a good idea to take microbiology and a&p i at the same time. with very little science background and as an older student, i realize this may have been a poor decision. :uhoh21:
i did well on my a&p lab exam, not so great on the plain a&p exam. have 3 more to go in each. 2 different professors too, but i'm determined not to let that be a barrier to doing well. however, microbiology i dread attending every week. very nice professor-she loves her field. but everything is going over my head. she's very fast (or i'm just very slow) and i've fallen behind. at the risk of compromising success in a&p, i think i may drop micro. i would take cpr and perhaps on-line adult-ed chemistry, both of which are prereq's for nursing pgms.
i don't know! i'm just in midst of divorce with no $$$ (he owes me a lot-has been withholding since march), and am a single mom of fabulous teenage daughter and 2 year old dog. i really want to stick with it and not give up-a lot of people have been so supportive of my new career goal, and it's one in which i could finally achieve financial independence.
anyway-sort of thinking out loud -anyone have any thoughts? always appreciate insight from the more experienced or just any feedback.
thanks,
rebecca
