Computer shuts off at 75

Hello you guys! I have finally taken the NCLEX yesterday morning. Anxiety keeps on setting in, if you only knew the discomforts I'm feeling right now. I 'm having palpitations, abdominal pain, insomnia... you name it! The computer shut off at 75. Waiting for the result is mental torture....aaarrggghh!

I've been constantly checking the california board website hoping for my name to appear when it hasn't even been 24 hours since i took the exam! .... silly.

I mostly got prioritizing, check all that applies, meds and side effects, not even a single calculation, click on the diagram or any fluid and electrolyte disturbances after jamming your head with all those gazzillion figures.

Please pray for me!

Sounds like you did great. I know it's easier said than done but try to relax, go out and do something that has absolutely nothing to do with nursing and I'll be praying for you. Keep us posted.

i only had 75 great job! Never hear of anyone failing with 75 questions

good luck to all of you.. keep posted..just pray.. god bless..

I don't want to upset the OP, but failing with 75 does happen.

However, if you got a lot of priority, minimal calculations, and many of the other subjects you mentioned in the original post, that's a very good sign.

Hope the waiting isn't too long for you and you'll see your results soon!

I stopped for a second before I hit next at 75, when it didn't put up another question I wanted to jump up and talk trash to the computer, but thats just me, I'm a little off some times.:)

Hang in there. Good luck!

Sounds a lot like my exam (I had 75 of those questions, too) and guess what? I found out yesterday that I'm an RN!!

You will be fine...don't worry (oops, that's not therapuetic communication, now is it??)!

Prayers for your peace are being said;)
