charge rn differential?

hey everyone just curious to see if my hospital is on par with others... were getting .63 cents an hour for charge pay... please reply

Specializes in OB, M/S, HH, Medical Imaging RN.

$1.00 an hour here.

Specializes in Critical Care.

$1/hour county-wide here.

days: no differential (no patients). Eves, $2 (no patients). Nights, $5 (full patient load).

$1.50, all shifts, usually with no patients.

$2.00 / hour. Day shift, no patients. Small load on 3-11, full load on nights.

Specializes in onc, M/S, hospice, nursing informatics.

$1.00 all shifts, small-medium load day & eve shift, full load nights.

Specializes in Emergency Dept.

We have a special 7-3 CRL who does charge duties on top of a lot of other management responsibilities. She is there Mon-Fri. Our night charge doesn't get paid anymore than anyone else, usually gets 1 less patient.

Specializes in telemetry, med-surg and hospice.

Here $1.50/hr no patients, unless there was a problem with staffing.

$2.50/hr light to full load, all shifts

Specializes in Critical Care, LTAC, Nursing Educator.

$3.00/hr -full patient load on all shifts (ICU)

5% of base pay plus shift diff.
