Cedar... New Grad Program 2011?

How did everyone do?? I'm getting anxious about the results!!

Ok, everyone, please calm down! It's over :-)

I was able to get some information so I'll share here:

Base rate $32.50/hr for BSN, night differential $7/hr, night weekend differential $9/hr. MSN will have a 3% higher in base rate!

Within 1 week (maximum 2 weeks), they will call 50-60 people (out of 135 people were there today) to offer position. That means 45% of us will be selected. That's good statistic!

The program starts on Monday of 3rd week of February.

I'm happy with my answers; although I had a 3pm appointment and didn't get interviewed until 4:30-- and when they called my name again for the director interview, they just said they had all the info they needed and excused me?!

When the lady excused me, she gave me the same info as anuong05, but added that those chosen will be split into 2 cohorts; one starting in february (as you said) and another group will begin the first week of March.

Based on what I've heard it was all just for clarifications of some things. I still wonder what are all these some things all about. I'm thinking that they might be more interesting to those who had 2 interviews yesterday:confused:

I was told that the interview with the director only happened if you were missing something in your portfolio or needed a previous interview answer clarified. They said this was in order to not hold up the process if things were missing and they had to get ahold of people again.

Did anyone get an online application from Cedars to fill out by Monday? I'm not sure why I got it when I filled out an application already and most of the information there is in my portfolio.

i got the same email too. I remembered completing everything when I applied. Is this good or bad?

I'm hoping that it's good! I'm not sure if they would have called us to the open house if the previous application was incomplete.

Seems more like a good "sign" than a bad one. The way I look at it, if they really weren't considering us, they probably wouldn't bother with the email

I received that kind of email right BEFORE the open house. I'm losing hope
