Cedar... New Grad Program 2011?

I got the call this morning around 9:30am!!!!!! Wheeew! I was getting a little nervous buuut I start on Feb 28th and cannot wait to meet my new co-workers!! I haven't received the 2nd phone call regarding the drug screening/paperwork but am just glad, thankful and relieved I got a spot!! :[anb]: Good luck to the rest of you and congrats to those who have been accepted!

I was hired for the 28th, and I called HR to ask about the extra info Liza was supposed to give us (wasn't sure if I was supposed to come in or not). The lady there said that since they're hiring so many people (she said over 80), they will just have us come in a handful every day, and process us.

So not to worry, she said they'll be contacting us with that second phone call later on, as they schedule us for appointments. :)

I also start Feb 28!!! Don't loose hope, I know a few people who were offered a spot will not be accepting jobs at Cedars, so don't fret, I know it's hard... but until you don't get an email with regrets, or portfolio in the mail your still IN THE GAME!!! =) Be optimistic... I have no nails after 2 stressful days. Hang in there:nurse:

Ya, I initially accepted their offer and the supplementary e-mail was then sent by Liza, along with the second "pre-employment" e-mail. You all have a very good chance of getting a position, especially because they've probably only called half of the people so far for the 3 cohors

If you have an entry-MSN they will offer $34.91/hr, $7/nights, $9/weekends

I've also heard though that you pay your own monthly parking, and it's $110? Does anyone know if thats true?

I think that's UCLA but then again, I'm not sure..let's hope not! LA parking is expensive as it is!

I was also thinking, maybe it's taking sooo long for everyone to get the call since only Rita is calling everyone, and Liza is sending the e-mails for ALL 90 candidates.. I may be wrong, but let's see, has anyone who's gotten an offer been called by another HR rep other than Rita??

I got the call too today and start Feb 28!!!!! I am soooo relieved and I too was pretty much crying to my mom everyday. From what I hear, they are still calling so hang in there and don't give up. Congrats to everyone who has gotten the call and prayers that everyone else gets the call soon!:redpinkhe

I had a call from Rita and she told me that Liza would be the one contacting me later next week.
