@VanessaRN - congrats to u... i went to the interview at stanford yesterday... and it was brutal... haha... 4 questions but oh boy, i am glad it's over... tough competition out there... especially when u r interviewing with 3 other people who are all great... anyway, good luck and to everyone else who got called and yet to be called =)

I know!!! It sounds like a very brutal interview process. I still wanted to go today just so I could get the experience, but I know I wouldn't do as well because my heart isn't in it as much anymore. Plus, I don't want to get in the way of other applicants who really want and need that job. I would love to work for Stanford, but CSMC offered first, so what can I say. Jobs are so hard to come by for new grads, so I'll take any I can get! But I am really looking forward to CSMC, it's one of my top choices. I hope you receive good news from CSMC and/or SHC (hopefully both, hehe).

it's good that u have accepted the offer... stanford will have a 3rd and final interview... so i am thinking that it's still not a sure bet even if u passed the panel interview... i interviewed with this other applicant who already have a job offer too... but of course who wouldn't want to try an interview with stanford right? ;) i hope cedars is still calling some more people... and that u said about getting the email is a good thing... =)

Congrats VanessaRN!! I really hope Cedars Sinai call me today so I dont have to go to my Stanford interview tomorrow. I haven't even prepare for that interview yet bc I've been so anxious about hearing back from Cedars Sinai! =X

It sounded to me like they were calling for the feb 7 start date first but didn't realize some of the people weren't local so gave a choice of the start dates. I don't know about the number for each cohort but I'm guessing they made each one a little smaller (but again, just guessing).

I'm getting really nervous! I'm ready to call Rita myself! :uhoh21: I got an email last week regarding the Cedars employment application, and I think my interview went well. I just want to know aleady!!!

Hey monkeysarecute! I'll also be starting Feb 7. And they called me around 9am too. It's funny because I have an interview for Stanford Medical Center today, but since I accepted the offer I won't be going. Congrats to everyone and good luck to those who are still waiting for calls! And about the EMAIL: Rita asked me if I "filled out that email application already" (I did) SO if you did receive the email to fill out the online application, I think it's a good thing! :heartbeat:nurse:

Yey! Congrats VanessaRN! We weren't meant to be USC CTICU coworkers. We're meant to be cedars coworkers! :) See you in two weeks!

Ahh, I feel the same way...:uhoh3:

hey guys, that's awesome that u've gotten calls. i'm still waiting.. but i'm glad to hear that there will be 3 cohorts/start dates instead of the initial 1....

that probably means she'll be calling for a couple more days right?

Every time the phone rings, I was hoping it's Rita.:(

Same here... I jump every time my phone rings... My sister called earlier and I swear my heart rate went up to 130.... I hate this waiting game... Just give us an email for peace of mind at least....  :uhoh3: :redbeathe :crying2:
