CCBC Spring 2011

Hello everyone,

I wanted to say hello to everyone applying to Spring 2011. When do you plan on handing in your application? I am so excited to be near the end of my perquisites. GOOD LUCK and I hope to see you all in the spring!!!:coollook:

I just took TEAS V as well. I didn't get high score as I expect.(only 68.9%) At first, I think I have to retake again since my score is not even reach minimum recommend score, but I have read on the CCBC website about TEAS V.

They will not post the minimum scores. My score is just enough to apply.

I still have to take ENG102 and Speech101 in this Fall( I am done all the science classes), so the advisor didn't recommend me to apply for Spring2011. I will try anyway.

That is good news. Good luck!

Hey all, hope to see you in the spring. I am in the same situation as some of you: still have 1 prereq in the fall, even though I am applying for Spring. I almost killed myself this summer by taking A&P1 and Micro together (in 10 weeks), but I managed an A in both classes. Surprisingly, I did really well on my TEAS as well, but I am extremely nervous about not being completely finished all my prereqs. Anyone have any success stories about someone applying and getting in without A&P2 being done at the time of application?

I am applying for the spring and am super nervous about not getting in as well. i have 1 pre-req left (a & p 2). My gpa is good, but not as high as i would like it to be (i have some transfer credits from when i was younger in school and not trying as hard). I did well on the teas. I'm just nervous because a lot of people say you don't get in your first time applying, and because i have that one pre-req left. But theres nothing left i can do at this point, turned my application in now just have to wait. :-)

Would be nice to know what other people got accepted with though.

Yes, I am in the same position...did great on the TEAS and my science grades with CCBC have been all A's. My GPA is 3.89 with CCBC but I am using transfer credits for ENG 101 and PSYC101 from quite awhile ago which are B's. I didn't focus on school as much then so I am really hoping it doesn't bite me in the you-know-what. I hated the idea of retaking the classes, especially when I did great in ENG102 and PSYC103 (A's). I also got a B in BIO110 but I heard they don't look at that class.

I also handed in my application about a week ago. We have so long to go before we find out...I am so super nervous!! Good luck to everyone!

Does it matter which campus you take your application to?

I don't think that matters so much, but I think you specify which campus you want on the sheet.

I got my pink card today stating they received my application. :DThat is one step closer to an acceptance letter!:D

I got it today too!! But we will get a notification by late November, that such a long wait.

When did you hand in your application? Maybe it still needs to be reviewed.

i turned it in about 2 or 3 weeks ago.. i'm going to see if the pink card doesn't come in this week i will probably call. i just want to make sure they have everything...oh i hate waiting too.
